Pacific Enterprise Bank started in April 2007 with $31 million in capital and is privately held which affords it the ability to be responsive and open-minded to the various business banking needs of its clients. The Bank is an entrepreneurial bank and is always looking for ways to meet the needs of the underserved business community. With two locations, headquarters in Orange County, the Bank’s geographic footprint services Southern California.   Like all businesses, success is heavily determined by the capabilities of its employees. Bank employees have both big bank and community bank experience which lessens the time spent in understand a clients needs and subsequently providing solutions. The Bank has over 45 employees dedicated to provide first class depository services/products with the assistance of the latest technology as well as provide lending solutions using common sense business minded decision making
Pacific Enterprise Bank’s lending group focuses on businesses with loan needs from $250,000 to $5,000,000.  Financing is available for commercial real estate "investor and owner occupied", lines of credit, debt consolidation, start-ups, acquisitions, SFR flipping lines, letters of credit, diesel trucks, and bridge loans.  The Banks cash management group has more of a private banking feel and offers an array of products including remote capture, merchant card processing, online wires, ACH, positive pay and online banking. External 3rd party programs are actively used to complement the Banks lending practices. External programs include SBA 7A Loans, SBA 504 Loans, Calcap loans, CEDLI, ARB Grant Program, Carl Moyer Program, and Voucher Incentive Program.Since August 2009 the Bank has been a top 5 SBA Bank lender in Orange County (504 loans and 7a loans).

The Banks executive team includes:

Richard I. Ganulin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Pacific Enterprise Bancorp and its' Bank, has over a 40 year career in banking.  Mr. Ganulin is responsible for the strategic planning, finance and the credit operations functions for the Bank.  He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from UCLA in 1967 and in 1971 obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from California State University, Long Beach. Prior to becoming a banker, Mr. Ganulin played professional baseball with the California Angels.  Mr. Ganulin is the Chairman of the UCLA Baseball 10th Player support group, and coaches youth baseball in the Irvine Pony League.

Brian J. Halle, President for both Pacific Enterprise Bancorp and its' Bank, has over 15 years of banking experience.  Mr. Halle is responsible for the lending, marketing and operations functions for the Bank.  Mr. Halle completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado.  He obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.  Mr. Halle earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University in Irvine.

Jo Anne Painter, EVP/Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary for both Pacific Enterprise Bancorp and its' Bank, has over 30 years of banking experience.  Mrs. Painter has been involved in the organization and opening of two denovo banks.  Mrs. Painter is responsible for the finance, accounting, information technology, and human resource functions for the Bank.  Mrs. Painter obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.  She earned a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

Russell Smith, EVP/Chief Credit Officer for Pacific Enterprise Bank has over 30 years of banking experience.  Mr. Smith is responsible for the credit administration functions for the Bank.  Mr. Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Cal State University Northridge.  He earned a Masters degree in Finance from Cal State University Northridge and a Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles.
